Subscription Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: August 4, 2025
1. General Policy & Acceptance
This Cancellation Policy governs the terms under which a user (“Subscriber” or “You”) may cancel a recurring subscription with ToStatic. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Subscription Types and Renewal
ToStatic offers two types of recurring subscriptions:

Monthly Subscription | Charged every month on the anniversary date of the initial sign-up. | YES. Automatically renews at the end of each monthly term. |
Annual Subscription | Charged once per year for the entire 12-month period. | YES. Automatically renews at the end of the 12-month term. |
All subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
3. How to Cancel Your Subscription
To cancel your ToStatic subscription, you must use the following method:
Online Cancellation: Log in to your ToStatic Account Dashboard, navigate to the "Billing" or "Subscriptions" section, and follow the instructions to "Cancel Subscription."
Note: For compliance with consumer protection laws (e.g., "Click-to-Cancel" rules), the cancellation mechanism is designed to be as simple as the sign-up process
4. Cancellation During a Trial Period
If you are on a Free Trial period, you may cancel at any time before the trial period expires.
No Charge: Your card will not be charged.
Access End: Your access to the paid features will terminate automatically when the trial period officially expires.
5. Standard Cancellation Terms (Monthly & Annual Plans)
The default cancellation policy for all paid subscriptions is as follows:
Cancellation Effective Date: Cancellation requests take effect at the end of your currently paid billing cycle (e.g., the end of the current month for a Monthly plan, or the end of the current 12-month period for an Annual plan).
Access After Cancellation: Your account will remain active and retain access to all paid features until the final day of your paid subscription term.
No Default Refunds: No refunds (full or prorated) are issued for any unused portion of a paid monthly or annual subscription term. You pay for access to the service for the full billing cycle, regardless of when you choose to cancel.
6. Exception: Possible Prorated Refund for Annual Subscriptions (Manual Review)
ToStatic offers a possible exception to the No Default Refunds policy, strictly for Annual Subscriptions, under the following cumulative conditions:
Timely Cancellation: The Subscriber must submit a cancellation request during the annual term.
Zero Feature Usage: ToStatic’s internal system logs must show that the Subscriber has not used any features that are exclusive to the paid plan (i.e., any features outside of those specifically offered in the "Free User" plan) since the initial annual payment date.
Manual Review: All requests under this exception are subject to a mandatory manual review by the ToStatic billing team.
Prorated Refund Calculation
If ToStatic approves a refund under this exception, the refund amount will be calculated as follows:
Usage Calculation: The elapsed time will be charged based on the standard Monthly Subscription rate for the equivalent plan, not the discounted effective monthly rate of the Annual plan.
Refund Amount: The final refund amount will be the original Annual Fee paid, minus the sum of the standard monthly fees for the used period.
Deduction of Fees: The final refund will also have any non-recoverable payment processing fees (such as Stripe fees) and a $[Insert Amount, e.g., $5] administrative fee deducted from the final prorated amount.
Refund Amount=Annual Fee−(Months Used×Standard Monthly Rate)−Non-Recoverable Fees−Admin Fee
By selecting an Annual plan, you acknowledge and agree that your refund, if granted, will be calculated at a rate equivalent to the higher monthly fee structure.
7. Disputes and Final Authority
In the event of any disputes, discrepancies, or interpretations regarding the cancellation or refund process, including the definition of "feature usage" and the calculation of prorated amounts, ToStatic reserves the sole right to review the facts, make the final determination, and issue the final decision.
8. Changes to this Policy
ToStatic reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised policy on our website. Your continued use of the service after a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
